The Head Cap covers the horse's forehead, poll and the first two cervical vertebrae in the neck. The Back on Track effect relieves tension and improves circulation further down the back than any other similar product. Hook-and-loop closures ensure the best fit possible. Tie bands secure the Cap to the bridle’s throatlash. Reinforced seams on the Cap directly under the crown of the bridle for extra durability.
The Back On Track Therapeutic Equine Head Cap is a helpful tool for a variety of situations! Infused with state of the art Welltex material, ceramic particles reflect body heat back into the poll area to promote circulation. Ideal for TMJ soreness, stiffness in the poll or head area, and even for calming nervous or excitable horses, this cap covers both the atlas and the axis. With closures around the ears as well as laces that fasten under the throat, you can be sure to find a comfortable fit for your horse.

Instructions for Use:
Before beginning use of our products, please carefully read the directions for use which can be found on our packaging. Our products should be introduced slowly, and each product has a different introductory period. Please carefully follow the directions for use of our products, as the body needs the opportunity to familiarize itself with the Welltex fabric’s effects.
Continue to use the products according to your routine, and be sure to take breaks from use of the product around week three, in order to avoid dependency. The sensitivity of dependency varies from individual to individual. For maximum effect, the Welltex fabric should be in direct contact with your skin.
Specific Instructions for Use of Back on Track Products with Horses and Dogs :
The effect of Back on Track products increases with movement as the body's energy increases, so in addition to using pads and blankets in the stables, the horse should also use our products when moving, especially with products such as our leg wraps, saddle pads, exercise sheets, and blankets. For long term issues, your horse or dog may need to use Back on Track products for an extended period. After use for 2-3 weeks, you can take a one week break to assess the issues and determine if the products are working.
When using Back on Track products, be sure to take regular breaks from use.
Care Instructions:
Back on Track Welltex products should be kept clean to give maximum effect. Always follow the washing instructions on the product label. The minerals that give Welltex the effect are woven into the material and can not be washed or worn away.
Common Washing Tips:
- The garments should not be tumble dried
- Do not wash with bleach or rinse aid
- Wash colors separately and invert the garments before washing
- For knitted garments, we recommend that the product is dried flat on a towel
- Waterproof and water-resistant products must be washed with a suitable detergent
- Iontex® garments or other sportswear that contains cotton or viscose may shrink when washed for the first time. If this happens, gently stretch the garment while it is still wet
- Do not store the products in direct sunlight, unless necessary
The minerals in the products in many cases counteract bad smells, which means that it is enough to wash them with ordinary gentle detergent.
Detergents for sportswear usually contain substances that can damage our textiles, please check this before using these agents. The agents should not contain: Aluminum Chloride, Enzymes, Silver, Citrine. These substances can change the structure of minerals and in turn their properties.
